Section 2 of House Bill 1033 appropriated federal fund expenditure authority of $50 million from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA), for the purpose of providing grants for the construction of housing infrastructure.

Citizens and interested parties are invited to review the draft of the Housing Infrastructure Financing Program Allocation Plan and provide comments. Any comments received will be considered in the preparation of the final plan.

SDHDA will be hosting a public meeting on July 7, 2022, at 2 p.m. Central Time. The purpose of the public meeting is to present the plan and obtain feedback via written comments.
